The Soul Donkey welcomes old friend Mike Meli, a.k.a. DJ Deepstate, as
our first-ever live studio guest. DJ Deepstate and the Soul
Donkey have been crossing paths since the days of The Loft in the
1990s. We had a great interview of Mike on tape reminiscing on
his experiences at The Loft, his background, and how he came to be a
part of this movement that we call "house music," but unfortunately, I
am a donkey, and I deleted the interview by mistake.
Such is life.
It just means we'll have to have Mike back later this year. The
tracks we played, as near as we could remember, can be found below.
Please forgive us for any tracks that are missing. DJ
Deepstate grew up in Germany and enjoys his lager as much as we do.
This is not conducive towards keeping an accurate playlist.
